And here is my example. I used my photo behind a greek key template to create a bottom border. Added a large version of the photo and large title alpha to balance, with smaller journalling font and some pretty elements. Kit used was the August Collab: Friendship Blooms.

Las Vegas at Night
Here's the story: When hubby and I vacationed in Las Vegas, I took multiple photos of the nightly water/light show that happened every few minutes. My layout is a combo of two photos: the big one without the light show and then the border cut from the photo with the light show. With my camera it was difficult to capture the lights without a lot of blur. Thankfully I took enough photos of before and after that this combo works.

Very clever blending making the border part of the photo. Love that you were able to use 2 memories. Thanks for taking part in the August CAmera Challenge.

Lovely photo border balanced by the opposite striped edge and journalling line. Great action photos ...looks like lots of fun, and a perfect title for these shots. Thanks for taking part in the August Camera Challenge.

Interesting idea. My take on it:

Clever to use the sea photo cut into wave shapes to make the border. Lovely sea elements to complement your seashore photos. Eyecatching page. Thanks for taking part in the CAmera Challenge for August.
