    Default July 30: I'm Back!!

WHEW! I am back. Went out, had a baby last week, finally made it home from the hospital, adjusting to the baby schedule (aka, no sleep), and we made it to MONDAY!!!

I can say that hopefully all the problems I have been having are now taken care of LOL.

Hope you all had a great weekend

In holidays, we have Father in Law Day: I would love to celebrate, and I guess I can, but my father in law passed away before I met my dh. I guess I could make up some stories for my kids, about him

Paperback Book Day: YAY!!! Another reading holiday. We have approx. eight bookcases full of books in our "playroom". Most of them paperbacks

Support Public Education Day: Although I homeschool, most of my friends are teachers. Seeing what they go through, my hats off to them!

It is also Medicare's Birthday! Support medicare by.... getting sick? taking an aspirin? ummmm, have some cake???

In food, grab yourself an ice cream soda.... it is time to celebrate Ice Cream Soda Day! Brings to mind the 50's ice cream soda shoppe..... hmmm a kit??? maybe???

Hope you have a great Monday everyone! Bring on Tuesday.

    Welcome back Lisa!
I promise I didn't see Lynn and Candy hiding that cabana boy in the closet this morning.... and don't even look in the trash cans...lol
Reminds me of when we were teenagers and my mom left for the weekend...of course we took advantage of the freedom and had a party...then we diligently cleaned the house spotless on Sunday before she got back, even took out the trash...so the first place she looked after she got out of the car was in the trash cans outside...Not fair at all of her. lol My brother and I just looked like doe in the headlights at that point...lol
Ice Cream Soda and a book! Sounds like my kinda lunch! lol My father-in-law is too far away to go see, on a weekday anyway...lol
I am at work today and trying to get ahead...I am beginning to think that is not going to happen...lol
Hugs all for a wonderful Monday!

    Congratulations!!!
I'm back from my week in Oregon helping my Mom try to liquidate Grandma's belongings. What a saga! Glad to be home.

Lisa you are SuperWoman!! Congrats and welcome back boss-lady!!

Wish I could have been around more for the party-that-wasn't-had here....too busy buying tires and helping DD1 babysit my nephew. Between Doodles and him (he was totally misbehaving and being a bit of a maniac, which he doesn't usually do at my house when I watch him), I was so exhausted early in the day and fell asleep in my chair after they left. WHEW!

Glad Monday is over-had to work in an area that is 124 steps one way (the HARD way LOL) over half the day and it was kicking my booty!!

See y'all tomorrow-August is almost here, wow!

Welcome back....I didn't do it no one saw me do it so you CAN'T PROVE ANYTHING!!!!!

But honestly no ice cream sodas....I used to work in an old fashion ice cream shoppe and it was murder to make ice cream sodas and not eat everything in sight. Really makes one hate ice cream, and since I am Lactose intolerant I can ignore ice cream most days. Although I did have some yesterday; Maddy's mud: coffe ice cream with fudge brownie and oreos. Its a very small shop near my home that makes their own. Sooo yummy!!!

Not loving medicare since I work in healthcare and know what they actually pay for me to do my job. Really? Besides it will never be there when I get old. But I will eat some cake anyway!!

HA, we made it through Monday

Yeah, medicare is going to be interesting when I need it. I figure it will be like the umbrella thing. When it is actually raining, you won't have the umbrella.

Becki, glad you survived the babysitting! I think after a day like that I would have had a lot of chocolate and a really long nap afterwards

Cla, you didn't miss anything. We kept everything kind of quiet and the whole pg was kind of .... interesting. She is a cutie though and I am hoping she keeps on that path. HA If you hit my facebook page I have some pics of her up.
