Burbs of Kansas city

I am Kerry, aka scrpncrzy. I am married to my dh of nearly 20 years. He was my high school sweetheart. We can't have children of your own, but suprisingly many of our friends are thankful to loan us their children to us. We do have a very spoiled fur-baby, Sunshine, but the name doesn't fit her at all. She is a spoiled kitty I call her Sunybrat most days, although she is cute when she is asleep.
I work full time providing blood to patients in a suburban hospital in Kansas. It keeps me busy most nights. I enjoy my work and love helping others but it is not a creative field.

Soooo scrapping is my creative outlet. I love nature photography but don't get out much in the winter with all of the snow we get. I am a shop-a-holic for scrapping supplies too, show me a pretty kit and I will buy it. I need a 12 step program, so my husband says. I just got back into scrapping after having major spinal surgery and spending 3 long months on bed rest and recovery. Never watched so much daytime tv in my life.......Thought I would scrap more but being surrounded by only 4 walls of my bedroom was not very inspiring, so I am out all the time now. I wanna scrap, so I am gonna go play now.

Whohooo! You are like a 4 hour drive away from me. I am in Edmond, OK. I have some kids I will be happy to loan you. I have 13 total, so as you can see I have a few spares LOL.

I completely understand the scrapaholic thing.

I am not sure how you made it through everything. Bedrest sucks. I planned bedroom renovations while I was on bedrest. My dh hated it. LOL

I'm...um not very close (I live in MA) but I have a grandmother that lives in Grandview, MO which is on the outskirts of KC, MO so I guess that'll work lol. I am a medical biller so no, my job isn't necessarily creative in the artistic sense, but it is a challenge which I also happen to lurve.

Welcome Kerry! I have a few you can borrow too! I have 5 and 2 step kids....and one fabulous grand-baby boy...
One of my sons lives in Belleview, NE and I am sure he would be close enough to adopt for a bit...lol My ex-hubbies mom and dad's families are from Iola, KS so I have been through KC way too many times wish I had known you then could have saved me from boredom...lol.
I live in east Texas, half way between Dallas and Houston...been here for most of my life. Married this time for 11 years. Work full time as a Marketing/Graphics/Web Designer for the last couple years. {which is why I am always on-line}hehehe
