Today is Cranky Co-Workers Day. Tomorrow is International Day of Concern About Gun Violence. :LOL33: Coincidence? I think not.
It's also Tell a Story Day. We should get this one going. Someone start and then each person add something.
It may or may not be Navy Day. There is some dispute, because in 1922 when the day was first delcared, President Warren Harding chose Teddy Roosevelt's birthday to use, because Roosevelt was such a supporter of the Navy. However, sometime in the 1960s, it was determined that the US Navy was actually founded on October 13, 1922, and as such, the Navy asked that Navy Day be changed to October 13. Apparently no one with any real authority has given a flip one way or the other, because there has never been any official proclamation one way or the other. But just in case,

In food, it's National Potato DAy. We have hash browns and home fries for breakfast, french fries for lunch, and loaded baked potatoes for dinner. It's also American Beer Day. I'm not so much into that one, can't get past the way it looks and smells like someone already drank it, but if that's your thing, go for it.
Happy Tuesday all!
