Today is National Bologna/Baloney Day. Celebrate it with highly processed meat full of unhealthy preservatives. LOL Back when I was a kid, those preservatives were pretty good. My dad was famous for being out working on something in the garage or working on the books for his company in the spare bedroom, and he would ask me to make him a bologna sandwich. I would always make it and take a bite off of it before I brought it to him. It was just our running thing.

It's also The National Feast of Good n Plenty. Yes, those nasty little candy coated gummy licorice. I have no idea why anyone would want to eat them voluntarily, much less feast on them, but apparently someone does.

It's United Nations Day. It's the day to make fun of names like Boutros Boutros-Ghali.

It's TV Talk Show Host Day. Practice your chair throwing.

And if anyone is going to be in the NW Jacksonville/Callahan/Yulee area tonight, our church is throwing our annual Fall Festival. Everything is free. We have 500+ pounds of candy to give away. We have more hot dogs than a major league baseball game. Please come eat some of it.

Have a safe and happy weekend!

Sorry - I am in the minority that likes Good n Plenty. I like licorice.

We are having pizza later - probably with pepperoni. That will be my bolognia substitute.

It is wet and rainy here - ugh.

Have a great day!!!

I love to look at Good and Plenty. Just not eat them. But you must admit, aesthetically they are really really pretty!
