I'm looking through the gallery, and I'm wondering how you preserve your memories once they are scrapped.
I like to print and put them in drop in albums, but that's ending. It's the same price for me to print as to bind, and I'm going to give binding a shot this year. I keep this in mind when I scrap and keep everything at least 1/4 inch from the edge of my papers.
What do you do?
I print and put in albums...although not at the moment as my printer is broken lol!
I will again though when I get it fixed!!

I print (from a company) and put in an album. I can't put them in a pre-bound book - I get too nervous that "what if one page rips - the whole album is ruined".

I print at home and put in an album. Love my wide format printer.

I print and put them in an album. If I really like the LO I print extras and send them to my family...siblings, children, in-laws, etc. :)

I have one album I print/ and have "out" for the kids to look at (translation: destroy) and then I send one to print in a hard back boo for posterity.

I am thinking about printing my pages. I just bought a cute little 8 x 8 book that you can just slip pages into. I want to get some printed and then actually add some real elements to it for a 3D effect. I'm just hoping it turns out as sweet as it's looking in my head.. :)

I have print cost comparison chart I did for a class a while back of some of the printing services available which I updated recently because I was getting ready to have some printing done. You can get that here (http://www.box.net/shared/s854yya4x2) if you are interested.
I print a lot of mine and put in 8x8 albums. Love that size. Often one album themes-like our Disney World Trip in April. Once in a while I'll have one printed larger or for framing. I have also had a couple books printed and I like those very much.

My intentions are to actually finish a series of LO's for once and eventually have books printed. Although I have literally hundreds of LO's and no rhyme or reason to how I jump around between years.

I have had printed (commercially) about 150 at 6 x 6 size for a small album for my daughter- the others are waiting for me to do, though I just purchased a photo printer so will print at 8x8 - just have to find an album to slip them into.
I've looked at photobooks available locally in Oz and have not found one I like - the matte finish seems to dull down and blur the finish, the gloss ones seem so dark. Am I too picky?

I've never actually seen a printed book IRL. I usually print mine at 8x8 and trim them and put them in a sleeved album. But like Dani, I scrap what moves me rather than with rhyme and reason, so I have quite the hodge podge (plus I seem to keep giving away the ones I've printed). My latest idea is to have several albums with general (loose) categories - one of the kids, one of scenery, one for trips... Have I done it yet? Um, no. Seems the only thing I do with any regularity is upload the full size/quality jpg to Flickr for safekeeping.

I usually have them made into a book, or I take my digital LO as inspiration and create a paper page based on my digital page...

I don't usually print-I put them on disks at the end of the year and give them as gifts to my family. My grandmother does not have a computer, so I make hers a DVD with music.
I have used the ArtsCow site once though and the book is wonderful. I made it for DH for his Birthday, and I used their stuff for the pages.

I print it out at home... and that is probably the main reason why I do rectangular shaped LO's.... I can print on premium plus photo paper (supposed to last over 100 years without fading) and the cost is reasonable. I also like the instant gratification of seeing my work printed. 12 x 12 paper is so expensive here, and to have to cut every LO to make it 8 X 8 seems a waste - but that would probably be my second option.

Y'know, cutting every layout to 8x8 isn't so much of a waste as it is a freaking PAIN. I just trimmed about 10 layouts and I'm awful, even with a fairly nice paper cutter. Plus, Hobby Lobby has a lot bigger selection of rectangle albums...
If I could wrap my head around the change in layout space, I'd seriously consider it.

I actually started with landscape and decided I didn't like it so I ended up converting everything I had done to square. Square seems better balanced to me for some reason.

yup, scrapsofcandy....I agree. I scrap in square now, too, for that very reason.
Julie...I recently tried to do a bunch of 8x8's for my inlaws. The thing to remember, really, is to make the pictures bigger than you are used to. The rest feels the same to me. lol
I do print - but I have the professionals do it!

I've printed out a dozen or so layouts in the last few days, and I am just so disappointed with the way my printer handles color. I've tried letting pse handle the color profile, I've tried letting letting the printer handle the color profile, I've tried adjusting the colors and the brightness and contrast, but it seems to react differently with every layout. After wasting a color cartridge and a dozen sheets of photo paper, I'm ready to order my prints now :(

Scrapping Simply (http://scrappingsimply.photofinale.com/Default.aspx) has $10 off for every $50 spent until November 8. Looks like it applies to print credits too.
