Hi from Virginia!

Hi everyone!
I was drawn in by the upcoming celebration question in Friday's newsletter. I like that day! ;)

I'm a long time digi-scrapper, having given up paper scrapping in favor of digital way back in 2004 or 2005. I also love photography, I read a lot, I have three homeschooling kids ages 10, nearly 8, and nearly 5, my husband and I celebrated 15 years of marriage this summer, and we live halfway between Washington, D.C. and Richmond, Virginia. I'm originally from San Diego, though, a third generation native, and I lived in southern CA for the first 29 years of my life (until 2000).

Welcome to PDW :) I noticed your LO in the Challenge Forum as soon as I opened PDW this afternoon and am glad that you have posted in the gallery already so that we can ooh and aah over your page and leave some well deserved lovin'. I love the photo of your neighbourhood walk around and it is a delightful introduction to you and your kids - I look forward to seeing lots more of your family in our gallery :)

So glad you are making PDW one of your stops in digi-land. I'm in Utah but lived in Alexandria, VA from 2006-2009 and loved it! We still miss it.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone! My apparent absence from PDW is only because I'm so busy. Besides what I wrote in my original post, I'm also busy working for four creative teams and my own photography and scrapbooking projects. We're also redecorating our house! It is wonderful to be busy though! I would enjoy spending more time here at PDW and will when I can. I've seen many friendly people and great layouts, I like the kits I've seen, and I've smiled and laughed at several fantastically creative avatars and signatures .

I'm going to go read about the new challenges being posted for the new month. Happy October everyone!

Welcome to our wonderful group. I to lived in San Diego area for 15 years. Loved it but now live in Reno, Nevada. Do love the dry and sun! Loved going through your gallery of LO's. Very nice and you have a beautiful home. Hope to see your layouts in our gallery and in our challenges.
