Today is More Herbs Less Salt Day. I'm sorry, but herbs just aren't the same on my french fries. It's also Sarcoidosis Awareness DAy (now you know), Lemon Juice Day (summer highlights, anyone?), Swiss Winegrowers Day (wow, I thought you had to grow grapes or apples or watermelon, and then make wine out of that. I didn't know you could grow wine!), and Chop Suey Day. We'll be sending out for Chinese later. Somehow, I just don't think a boatload of MSG is exactly what the more herbs people had in mind.
Happy saturday!

Ahhhhhh.....Dr. House, I less than three you so I will honor you by celebrating Sarcoidosis Awareness Day. I'll also take the lemon juice, but I think I'll add some sugar and water and make lemonade. Then, tonight after all the birthday party kids have me worn ragged I'll add it to my vodka!:woot:

Annette I laughted out loud. I have never seen an episode of HOuse in which they did not think it was sarcoidosis at some point! I am off to a self-defense workshop and hope to be here tonight for the speedscrap!

I will take the less salt - sometimes I find they use too much salt for my taste - but there are cases that you really need to use salt. We had Chinese last night - does that count? :p

OoOOOOO I think today is going to be fun. Lemon squares ;) Spaghetti with herbs and butter (they didn't say anything about butter, did they?)
Annette, shocked that you are doing a party. Those scare me like nothing else..... more kids.
Miss Chris, go for the head.
mscrafts; yes it counts ;)

I had Chinese last night, but they didn't put soy sauce at my table, so I had less salt than I normally might :) I made up for it with deep fried fatty goodness and sake, LOL.
And I had buttered noodles for lunch at Noodles. With lots of nice salty parmesan and a nice salty chicken breast with a parmesan crust. But there were herbs, too, so I obviously thought yesterday was really today (which is ok, doesn't look like I'm motivated to cook today AT ALL).
I get to spend my day figuring out how to get my two grown children not to hate each other's guts. Any suggestions?
ETA: Ooooh, Happy birthday, Xandra!

I'm not much of a salt fan, at all so, I don't mind today!! :) Nothing much on the plate, hubby got home from work just after 7 and is on call for tonight... Which really screws up all our plans for today because he doesn't know if he should sleep like he'll be working or not. And, we usually know around 5 if he'll have to work at 7... UGH!
Happy Birthday Xandra!

Ummmmmm.......make one move out. I get to spend my day figuring out how not to wring the neck of my oldest. She went to a sleepover last night and came back this morning with the worst attitude ever! Should we trade Julie?
