Today is World Vegetarian Day. Not to insult any vegetarians in our presence, but the first things I thought about were quotes by two of the great philosophers of 20th century.

It's also Fire Dog Day and International Day of the Elderly. But even better, it's National Homemade Cookies Day. I am all for celebrating this one. Everyone make some and pass around so we can have lots of different kinds. I'll make Greek Wedding cookies and oatmeal raisin. What kind are you bringing?

Sorry - I am not a fan of veggies so I will just pass on the tofu. I was going to make chocolate chip oatmeal cookies - a touch of cinnamon in them.

I've got the snickerdoodles!

And maybe I'll have some sweet potato rolls at the sushi place down the road in honor of the vegetarians :D Sounds like a good excuse, right?

Not big on veggies, hate tofu, and love meat so I will pass on that holiday.

LOVE cookies though!!! Since I'm ready to skip Halloween & Thanksgiving and go straight to Christmas, I'll make some frosted sugar cookies.:fairy:

Hmmmm-well my youngest is a vegetarian (eats dairy, fish and eggs only) but not a single person in our house likes tofu...

And the cookies-how about peanut butter-chocolate refrigerated ones? Quick and easy for me since I am working today and only on my break at the moment! LOL

Ummmmm....sorry no tofu here! Mama's gotta pay the bills and vegetarians don't buy alot of cattle! Yay meat eaters!!!! Beef, it's what's for dinner!
