New and lost

I've just discovered this great site and have managed to post a couple of layouts, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to navigate the site. I'm unsure of what layouts I can post...can I use materials from other sites??..and how do I go about adding those nifty neato blinkies and siggies. I really appreciated those great sales over the week end and snagged a ton of wonderful supplies. You designers are very talented! Thanks to all of you!

You may use whatever you like in your layouts for the gallery; we just ask that you don't post links to other sites. And the link up at the top left of the page labeled "User CP" is where you can edit your signature and add an avatar :)
