Okay, in the back side of the site, we were chatting about chocolate. Sigh. Chocolate. Seems to be our Site's FAVORITE food. rofl
So I thought, why keep all the chocolate to ourselves? We can continue to discuss up here, right?
We ALL know Lisa loves her Bliss. She even offered to send us some. rofl
What is yours????

I wish wish wish I could send you all Seroogy's. Truly - it is incredible. I love bliss (truly do). But Seroogy's, a local company here, has some of the best chocolate (made in-house) I have EVER tasted since I was in Europe. Sigh.
I am our elementary school's pto Vice Pres, which puts me in charge of Fundraising. I always try to think "outside the box." And this year we are selling Seroogy's Candy Bars at the Packer Pre-games.
Point? Here I sit with 20 boxes of varied candy bars - all that melt in your mouth and any chocolate would die for - right there in my basement. NOW is not a good time to be broke!
Or maybe it is???? heehee.

We talked about that last year. Sergooy's would be lovely, but shipping when it's warm out would ruin it because it would melt in shipping. I'd love to try it, since...
...This will get tomatoes thrown at me, but I don't like chocolate very much. It's merely ok. I do LOVE Baci - Dark Chocolate with Hazelnuts - and some hot chocolate mixes. It's very very hard to find Baci. Target carried it for a month about 2 years ago, as did BJ's Wholesale.
I enjoyed chocolate while I was in Europe, but alas, American chocolate SUCKS in comparison. Besides the taste, most of the companies that make chocolate candy in America get their cocoa from the Ivory Coast, where it's harvested by slaves. I look for Slave Free Chocolate and do enjoy Dagoba's Dark Chocolate covered Caramels. I'd be set for life with DCCC and Baci. :)

P.S.
I do enjoy the Endangered Species Dark Chocolate with Espresso Beans (Tiger Bar).

We have Bliss in Alberta!
I'm in love with chocolate covered cinnamon bears, chocolate covered blueberries that my parents send from Daffin's in Pennsylvania, Giradelli dark chocolate squares with raspberry or mint filling, and the dark chocolate Kit Kat bars I bought in Scotland (trying to make them last). My all time favorite chocolate treat are these dark chocolate covered peaches (http://meduriworlddelights.com/fruits/fruit-and-chocolate/milk-chocolate-peach-treasures/) from Meduri World Delights.

Seroogy's is online, Lisa. Let me find the link....they have every flavor you can think of.
All I know is that when I was singing in Europe, years and years ago, I fell in love with chocolate. Never really was tempted by it before that. But there is something about chocolate in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. It quite literally is smoooooooth and melts so beautifully in your mouth. yum.
For me, seroogy's are like that. Especially their "meltaways." sigh. stupid candy bars downstairs. I still haven't bought one, but I am weakening.
The only one NOT tempting me is the Mocha meltaway bars. But the Peanut Butter ones....oh man. Get thee behind me, peanut butter. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I don't have a favorite brand - haven't found one yet to say this is the ONE. Dark chocolate now is my favorite. As a kid, not so much, but now both DH and I like dark chocolate the best. Milk chocolate is good too. We liked the Hershey's Bliss but the last few bags have been heat damaged so not that good. Add in that now we are watching what we eat - chocolate is a treat.

:hypnosis: Death by chocolate is my favorite chocolate treat.
Ingredients
1 (19.8 ounce) package brownie mix
2 (3.9 ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (16 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
3 (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate covered English toffee
Directions
Prepare brownies according to package directions. Let cool.
Mix pudding according to package directions.
In a glass punch bowl, layer in the following order: 1/2 of the brownie, crumbled; 1/2 of the pudding; 1 toffee bar, crushed; 1/2 of the whipped topping.
Repeat layers in the same order. Save the last toffee bar to crumble and sprinkle on top before serving.
Refrigerate. Best if made the day before you serve it.
I use butterfingers instead of and sometimes with the English toffee! Very very good. Now I am hungry.

Love all chocolate, and Hershey's Bliss is probably the best "grocery" purchase. My favorite is a local company called Ben Heggy. (http://www.heggys.com/) These are made in Canton just a few miles from me. I remember my Mom getting these for very special occasions when I was small.
