While trying to scrap a couple of family visits to the crest of two "Fourteeners," I made an interesting discovery. Pictures at the top of very high mountains require different colors than pictures taken at lower elevations - no trees grow above 11,000 feet or so, and so there's a lot of blue and tan and brown. This kit was born from the need to scrap those pix, and reflects the unique color scheme and textures of the mountain top. (And since we rode the cogwheel train to the top of Pike's Peak, I added the train tracks I made for my layout just for fun!). Colorado Nature Mountaintop is designed to work right along with my Colorado Nature Page Kit.
