Today, in 753 BC, Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus.
In 1918, Manfred Von Richtofen, aka the Red Baron, was shot down. There is some controversy over who actually shot him down, with three pilots and a ground based anti-aircraft gunner all claiming credit, but it is generally accepted that it was not a white dog with black ears flying a doghouse. Sing it with me "10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or more, the Bloody Red Baron was rollin' up the score..."
Today is Kindergarten Day. If you've been there, you've learned All You Really Need to Know. (http://www.peace.ca/kindergarten.htm)
Today is Secretary Day. If you have one, do something nice for them. If you are one, here's to you.
Today is National Chocolate Covered Cashew Truffle Day. Big improvement over lima beans.
Happy Birthday today to Queen Elizabeth and Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys.

He's cute, but I still like Peyton Manning.

Did you know Duke University has a football team? Me neither. Wow, look at them, and they have brains if they go to Duke.

Here is a website (http://jasoninhollywood.blogspot.com/2009/07/hot-gods-with-hot-bods-for-july.html) with some pitures of European footballers that are not appropriate for work. Check out the summer of 2009 posts.
And a huge belated
