Today is National Be Late For Something Day. It's also National Cheese Pizza Day, so I hope if you decide to celebrate with delivery, you're not the person the pizza dude decides to be late for.

lol, well I only have one place to be today and I am sad to say that I cannot celebrate be late today, I have a hair appointment that I can't be late for (seriously the last time I got my hair cut was September of last year)

I HATE being late!!! It's one of my pet peeves and I think it's connected to my problem of always needing to be in control. I am a procrastinator though...someone once told me that procrastinators are usually people who have grown up in crisis and the procrastination is their way of continuing that. They like the rush they get when they leave something for the last minute and there's a challenge to get it done before the deadline. This totally fits me and also feeds into my competition and control problems. But, my dad was a procrastinator too, so I also blame it on genetics!:)

Mmmmm....cheese pizza! We were planning Brats for college football, but maybe we'll have to re-think that.

I am always close to being late - drives my mom NUTS! I get there on the dot now but growing up I was always late when she was already out the door.

I admit to being fond of studying personality types, and of the four (in the method I'm most familiar with) three procrastinate. The party personality secretly hopes they won't have to do it because they will have charmed someone else into doing it for them, the peaceful personality avoids effort, and the perfect personality anticipates failure so avoids proving it beyond the shadow of a doubt, and the 4th type (the Power personality) wonders why in the heck no one else gets anything done. :)

And thank you again for the siggie, Xandra; this is as close as I will ever get to a power personality, LOL!

I would say I'm not happy about being late, but seeing as how I was late the one and only time I got to meet Miss Chris ^^^ it probably won't fly :)
