Of course any Friday is good, but this one is just a little more special than the others. :)
Today is World Autism Day. Watch Rainman with many tissues.
It's Children's Book Day. More Dr Seuss! Or maybe you could read Roald Dahl books or the Harry Potter series. If I had written that, it would not have been for children. The stupid gum wrappers would have meant something, Neville would have blown the roof of the place in the last book and gotten Luna or maybe Violet and Snape would have been Harry's real father. Muahahahahahahaha!!!
It's National Walk to Work Day. They should have told me yesterday so I could get started. It's a good 20 miles.
It's Reconciliation Day. So are we supposed to kiss and make up with someone, or do they mean like balancing the inventory? Because I gotta do that sometime in the next few days. http://louisaonline.com/images/smilies/smiley-yuck.gif
It's Hosptial Admitting Clerks Day. Um, yeah. They're probably taking the day off while the discharge coordinators are working doubletime. It's a holiday weekend. The hospitals are going to discharge anyone who's breathing on their own and not bleeding or whatever. So we at the home health care agencies can ask WTH this person is doing home and send them back to the ER. Sigh. Traditions.
In food, it's Peanut Butter and Jelly Day and Hot Cross Buns Day.
I leave you today with my neice's favorite joke when she was little.
"What do you get if you pouring boiling water down a rabbit hole?"
"Hot cross bunnies!"
