I am not sure if I can take this new change :confused:

I know I will get used to it (eventually), but it was quite a shock when I logged in tonight.

Looks super sophisticated!

Will there be a way to get from the forum back to the PDW shop or gallery?

This look won't be forever - the forum software needed to be updated so we're stuck with the basic layout until everything gets put back in place. It's really disorienting, isn't it!

ROFL! Whoa! It is a little disorienting. But it is only for a short while. and yes, LDH...we will get all our fun links back - no worries.

But like Julie said, with our new Dedicated Server Lisa found, the owner needed to update our software. So hang in there!

I'm relieved to know it's not permanent! LOL Crap! I guess I'll make that appointment to have the ultimate GPS Forum unit placed in my neck. Ugh! I get so lost.

IMO it's really difficult to get around, especially on my work computer...so I don't visit the forum as much. ...hmmmmmmm my boss might think that is a good thing.....LOL

I belong to a couple of private, free forums. You're allowed to shop through all the "skins" people have made for them and use them to dress up your own place. THe only trouble is, after a while some of those borrowed clothes get torn and dirty (i.e. their photobucket runs out of viewing, LOL) and we're forced to switch to a new one. It's always a pain, everything is in another place, yadda yadda. But you know what? You get used to it amazingly quickly and then it becomes the norm again. The answer, therefore, is to POST POST POST!!!

WOW, yikes, I've been sick for the past few days (my wonderful niece & nephew decided to share their stomach virus, yay) come back and thought I was in the wrong place! Hope this changes back soon, have I mentioned how much I REALLY REALLY dislike change?? I'd say I'll adjust but I hope I don't have to ;)

Okay I am trying really hard to be mature about this 'change' *stomping foot* but I hate hate hate it. sigh I know Lisa is working super hard to fix it all back, but until then I just want to pull my hair out everytime I see this forum. okay enough from the drama queen.

I hate to admit it, but I'm starting to get used to it :D The worst part is that it spreads the full width of my monitor, so every post is reallllllllllly wide and reallllllllllly short, LOL

So the posts at DST are the width of the monitor, too. I wonder why this seems so much worse?

I can see them....it took a few minutes for them to show up though. Maybe check out some threads, and reply (LOL) and then go back to the main forum page and they will be there? That's what did it for me.

PS: Lisa, is this a temporary or permanent look? Just wonderin' :0)

Yep, if you click on a thread and then click on forum again you should be able to see everything. :fairy:

WHEW< we are back in business. I HATE CHANGE, except when I have a need to re arrange the furniture ;)

The old look is kind of back with the stupid new forum software. Oh wait, did I say that? I "had to" upgrade or choose another forum software, so here we are.

Links are back at the top :)
Colors are back to soothing. Yes, I know it was bad, I couldn't step in the forum till I had it fixed again. LOL I know :)
It is still a little wider than the last one, but can't fix that.

If there is anything wonky, let me know and I will see if we can get it fixed. It is a new "language" and I hate learning curves ;)

Weeeellllll I have found out if I click on the forum button the secret place forum shows up.

I've noticed that both the gallery and forum require me to log on everytime I visit the site, is this something that can be fixed????? Is anyone else having to do this?

I found that if I open the gallery first, I can't log into the forum - I have to close the window, go to the forum first then go to the gallery.

Also just found that the Reply to thread button doesn't work either - any and all buttons that say reply dump you into the quick reply box - so I can't get the smilies box. :(

Maria I just hit the reply button, it does not have the smilies, but if you click on the Go Advanced it allows you to use the smilies. :)

Patience, everyone. This is just like a new haircut - takes a while to get used to, but after a couple of weeks of looking in the mirror, you wonder what you were bothered about because it now looks familiar. Lisa will be working hard to get the forum working well then prettied up and I think she needs our support not our complaints...after all she did say this was only temporary. so Patience...
