Today is National Beheading Day. Apparently no one knows when or why someone decided we need this holiday, but here it is.
It's also National Blueberry Popsicle Day. I'd like to know where to find one. The blue ones in the popsicles my kids have are blue raspberry. Which brings up another question - where in nature do you find blue technicolor raspberries? If they can make sour apple flavored stuff, why don't they make regular apple flavored stuff that isn't cinnamon flavored? Oh look, a squirrel! http://www.emofaces.com/en/emoticons/s/squirrel-emoticon.gif

lol Kelly! The good news today is that I am home from work. The bad news is that I am home because of my sick kid. The horrible news is that the pediatrician thinks he has h1n1 (swine flu) and now he has an ear infection on top of that! Geez Louise!
I am sure as the day goes on I will encounter someone with whom I would love to celebrate national beheading day! Who wants to place a wager that it will be DH!!! :)

Awwww, poor baby! And poor Brendan, too! Hope he gets better soon :(
I can't think of anyone I want to behead just yet, but the day is young. Not sure where I stand on the whole My Berry Is Blue controversy, just yet.
ETA: Nevermind. Some beheading might be on the horizon...

(((Hugs))) Chris and Brendan! I hope it's not H1N1, just an ear infection and a bug, as if that wasn't bad enough! To make him feel better, feed him blueberry popsicles.

hehehe I can think of a few beheadings today ;)
You know, I have often wondered about the blue and the raspberry. I usually think of it when it drips on the floor and I have to clean it up. IT IS NOT A MOTHER who designed the colors. I prefer the clear......clear colored raspberry, clear colored grape, etc.
Miss Chris...oh noo. I am so sorry! and an ear infection to boot? that is so not fair.
Julie: I wub you. (do I not get beheaded now? LOL)
Kelly, you are the bestest.
Physio: welcome to our craziness ;)
Xandra, if you need some help picking a beheading person......I can help

Oh no! I hope your sick one gets well soon and it is not serious! I had to take my daughter to the doctor yesterday for a fever of 101. Turns out that they think she has a virus. I think it is because she just lost a tooth and the new one is coming in and causing a fever. I have heard so many tell me that their children had fevers when their teeth were coming in. Anyway, the fever has not gone away and now she is going to miss a 3rd day of school.

wow! I totally missed this....I was busy cleaning up my mess on the guillotine.:p
Chris, eek! I hope it's just the ear infection. h1n1 is really bad in the eastern part of our state (just north of you). Kids out of schools in the hundreds. We're headed that way for state fair this weekend and I'm dreading it.
