The official suggestions are that you should go fly a kite, hang glide, parasail, ride a motorcycle, etc. But something about that phrase....I just hear Woody yelling "Ride like the wind, Bullseye!" I may have to watch Toy Story this afternoon. ROTFL Did I ever tell you that a few people think I am totally evil because in the movie "Mission to Mars", at the highly dramatic moment when Tim Robbins is drifting away from the ship on his spacewalk and is being sucked into the planet's gravitational force, the rest of the crew are hysterically making plans and shouting "We've got to save Woody!" I am falling off the couch laughing so hard, shouting "I'll save him, I'm Buzz Lightyear!" I guess they just didn't watch very many kid movies.

Annnnnnnnyhoo, today is also National Angel Food Cake Day if you are so inclined. I prefer my angel food cake made into tiramisu.

I think I'll stick to the kite flying today. I'm not too thrilled with heights unless I'm surrounded by seats with belts, flotation devices and drop down oxygen masks.

Ohh I don't like heights either.

I'll take some of that tiramisu though...MMmmmmm!

Think I'll leave the ride like the wind for others-I'll take the tiramisu -that sounds good! So nice to be back in the forum!

oh, wait..I LOVE that idea Kelly! In honor of "ride the wind" day, I will watch Toy Story! hahahahaha...I can DO that!

Tirimisu is actually my favorite dessert - equal to ice cream (and we all know how much I love ice cream!).

BTW - who ended up winning the race last night??

oooh angel food cake is fat free!! I'll take a piece. I am also not a fan of heights so I will pass on all of that!

Kyle Busch won. Mark Martin finished second after dominating most of the night. On the last lap, he caught Kyle's bumper but couldn't pass. Kyle moved up to give him room but Mark just didn't have enough horsepower. Rusty Wallace (in the broadcast booth) was screaming for Mark to punt him. In victory lane, Kyle said Mark deserved to win the race and thanked him for racing clean and fairly and not wrecking him for the win. Awwwwww. He's finally growing up.

There was some comedian who did a whole thing about being afraid of flying. People always told him he wasn't going to go unless it was his time. He said yes, but what if it's the pilot's time? You get to heaven, God asks what you're doing there, and you say, well I'm with him. I don't know why I'm here, my ticket says Kansas City.

I can so relate to that.

Unfortunately no wind here today - too hot so no kite flying today. Angel food cake sounds good tho...

Wayyy too windy to fly kites today, and it's hot. After a cold summer, I can't handle it suddenly deciding to be hot!

I love Angel Food, as long as it's from scratch. Mmmmm. Tiramisu... not so much. I WANT to like it, but I'm always disappointed.

I guess I need to come up with a new avi. Do we have a theme going?
