Whew, the month sure is flying by fast! I can hardly keep up! My husband and I went to Mexico on vacation for a week and when I got home I got the flu and now have a scratchy throat…what is up with that?!
I missed a couple of posts and here I am trying to catch up-there are lots of challenges to complete and get awesome goodies!! Go check them out in the forum.
The first challenge I am going to tell you about is the November Color Challenge, and the colors this month are from the PDW November Collab (which is FREE with any $10 purchase!) called Pumpkins and Scarecrows:
There are a TON of colors to choose from…and you only need a minimum of three! For completing the challenge you will receive a $3 GC to Jazzelle’s shoppe-you can check it out here.

The next challenge I am going to highlight today is the White Space Challenge. This is a really cool challenge to use less on your pages…I always love the way these pages look! This is what Lexy has to say about her challenge:
‘I am SUPER excited about the path this challenge is taking us on and I hope you are as well! So many have asked how I do my “white space” layouts… it’s really simple and something you can absolutely do for yourself! It’s a matter of getting comfortable with less and really making your photos *pop!*
I was your typical clusterer. Yup, that’s a word in the scrap world LOL and when I began to work with a minimalistic designer, that’s when I learned how it’s done… really by accident and just playing with a LOT less!
I found this quote just this morning on “white space” and I hope it helps you understand it even more:
“White space is about letting what you have to show and say stand on its own. It’s about the drama of a good photo shining in all its glory. It’s about giving the eye a much needed rest. It’s about purity of intent. It’s a calm in the storm of visual life.” ~ Cathy Zielske’
